Lara Egger is an Australian native who now lives in Boston, MA. Her debut collection of poems, How to Love Everyone and Almost Get Away with It, won the Juniper Prize for Poetry (University of Massachusetts Press, 2021). Egger is a recipient of a Massachusetts Cultural Council fellowship, winner of the Arts & Letters Rumi Prize for Poetry, and a two-time Pushcart nominee. Her poems have appeared, or will soon appear, in Verse Daily, Ploughshares, Copper Nickel, Bennington Review, Ninth Letter, New Ohio Review, Washington Square Review, and elsewhere. She received her BA from Emerson College and her MFA from the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers. Egger is the co-owner of Estragon Tapas Bar.
